Arian Rajh, PhD, associate professor of archival science, archivist with 17 years of professional experience specialising in contemporary archival material. From 2006 to 2022, he worked at the Agency for Medicinal Products and Medical Devices, 10 of those years as department head. He worked on managerial tasks, on the creation and maintenance of the institution's record-keeping and archival policy, and on the implementation of internal and external EU projects (EU IPA 2009 TAIB project, which he initiated and led, the program of digitisation and migration of Agency's archival materials, the introduction of digital medicinal products dossiers into Croatian regulatory practice, as well as numerous projects of procurement or creation and upgrading of IT systems). Between 2009 and 2022, he taught as an external Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences associate. In 2018 the University appointed him associate professor without tenure. Since 2022 he has been employed as an associate professor and a Department of Information and Communication Sciences member. He participated in creating teaching materials at the Department, and he reviewed materials for the Polytechnic in Požega. From 2009 to 2014, he taught the Planning and Design of Records Management Systems course. In addition, currently, he teaches archival theory and practice courses, arrangement and description of archival material, records management, and archival appraisal. Arian has participated in numerous workshops and training programs, including one for the UN's International Atomic Energy Agency. He has mentored student practice, MA and BA theses, and evaluated PhD theses and scientific and educational appointments.
